Player's Log:

Bloodstained: I got the second best ending, then reloaded my save, did the pivotal boss fight correctly, and now I'm on the track for the best ending. Still got some more exploration and bosses to go, including a bunch of secret ones.

On that note, I completely forgot that if you have the DLC, then if you beat that one pivotal boss fight, leave the room, and then go back in, Iga actually appears as an ultra-hard boss. I forgot this, went back in the room, and he soundly kicked my ass, forcing me to reload my save and redo the boss fight. Good times.

 

I feel like I stopped playing Bloodstained when I got the shitty ending lol

 

There's three different endings.

There's one where if you fight Gebel as soon as absolutely possible and beat him, then Miriam just wonders if it was the right thing to do and you get the achievement Just A Flicker. Then it immediately cuts to a Game Over screen.

There's a second where if you forego Gebel and continue exploring the castle, eventually you'll find the Oriental Sorcery Lab, where you'll fight Zangetsu for the second time, and upon beating him you'll get his sword. If you then fight Gebel and do not equip Zangetsu's sword, you'll get the achievement Usurper and an ending pretty similar to the first one.

The final and best ending happens when you fight Gebel using Zangetsu's sword. As you fight Gebel, once the moon in the background turns red, you need to immediately stop fighting Gebel and attack the moon. That will cause events to unfold that open up the remaining areas of the game, the final bosses, and the true ending.

It’s time to finish the main story of god of war and then move on to the grind for 100%.

 

The 100% in that game was actually pretty fun to get.

 

I finished the main story and it’s weird that Baldur was the last fight of the main story. I know the valkyries are the true main ending but it’s just that baldur fight felt a little easy.

I am hyped to see what happens in ragnarok though because we are seeing tyr thor odin and hopefully fafnir and fenrir come in to play. I’m a nerd for Norse mythology so really this has me super hyped.

Anyone spent much time with the guardians game? It looks really cool and reviews are pretty good but anyone here have any input on it?

I'm loving it. The writing is very, very good. The performances are all good-to-great (the Drax voice actor is incredible). The visuals are beautiful and it runs very well.

You kind of just have to be prepared for the fact that it's a linear, story-driven action game. You're on rails the entire time. There's a ton of quippy dialogue happening at all times. If you're not into that, then it's not going to be for you. I'm really loving it though.

 

I’m 3 valkyries down and I’m not going to lie I have been using guides just to track these damn Odin ravens down. They are too much of a pain.

 

The ONLY thing that game doesn't do well is the Ravens. Those are so fucking dumb.

 

Been jumping all over the place finding and sticking to something to play and just landed on 'Fuck it, let me try Last of Us finally.'

 

honestly that and the fact you can’t tell what’s undiscovered until you actually discover it is the worst.

It’s like I have to check everything again just to see if it’s an Odin raven or realm tear or Valkyrie.
