I'd like to say that music taste doesn't matter to me, but I'm with someone whose music taste I like (though she's only into a fraction of the ridiculous amount of stuff I like), so who knows.

 

Music taste has never mattered to me at all. My last boyfriend didn't listen to any music at all, which was weird but not a big deal. I think of it as a nice bonus if their taste is similar.
