Listened to Photo Album this morning. It was never my favorite but I think the real only miss on it is "Why You'd Want to Live Here"

Kintsugi and Photo Album are very close, the rest are all pretty set.

"Steadier Footing", "A Movie Script Ending" and "Information Travels Faster" are the three weaker songs on that album for me.

:redanger: How anyone can feel “A Movie Script Ending” is a weaker song is beyond me!

I've never really liked much about that song. The melodies sound clunky, don't like the "high-way" part, don't really get much out of the lyrics. It's fine but definitely in my bottom 5 from their 2000's material.

The hottest of hot takes...but...NG's Sleepless In Seattle > Gold Rush.

Not a hot take at all, "Sleepless in Seattle" is a 50x better song.

Really annoying that they didn’t fix the squashed font on the cover.

there’s something about that podcast that comes off a little awkward/staged to me. i prefer the one tree hill rewatch one, despite liking the oc more.

The One Tree Hill podcast is almost shockingly good. So much more thoughtful in how they engage with the show and all the things about it that have aged atrociously.

absolutely. it's wild, considering I don't think any of them have podcast experience before?

and looking at some of the other tv recap pods, it's not like going from tv to pod is the most seamless transition
