Thought this was a really strong first 4 episodes actually. Seems like a lot of the players are being more strategic this time around, the clone twist was fun, and I like this cast a decent amount. Loved the convo in episode 4 with “Isabella” and “Ashley”, both catfishing but both getting to share their own actual coming out stories and still forming a bond. Compelling stuff!

Yo why is everyone on this show weirdly religious

Is anyone else caught up? I’ve actually really enjoyed this season, probably more than season 2. Lots of interesting twists. Think “Ashley” could pull out an unexpected win next week, she’s had good convos with James and Kai that I think could put her at the top.

Hated Nick at first but now I’m rooting for him

I'm not sure who I'm rooting for at this point. They all have their plusses and minuses going for them, but I will say that I am incessantly entertained by Matt/Ashley continually referring to Nick as Daddy Nick. It brings me life.

  8. This season’s been alright. Feels like it’s had more “do nothing” players than past seasons. Isabella, Ashley, Kai, Jackson, and Daniel have all just kinda... sat around. Kai particularly feels like she’s made no moves. Any alliances she’s had this entire game were initiated by other players. Gives the vibe that her making this far and being seen as a threat has had less to do with her skill and more to do with being the person that players saw as the most approachable going into the game for various reasons

This season probably has the highest amount of players that I’d probably be down with on a personal level though. At this point there are still multiple people I would love to see win just because I like their vibe. And all the twists have been pretty cool too. Nick/Vince was a lot of fun to watch

  9. That was a really fun final “circle chat”. Loved how much they were all still talking strategy/game haha. Not mad about the winner at all

Kinda crazy that Nick and Kai were the clear favorites but they finished in the bottom two of the finalists.

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more tbh. Like it makes perfect sense that everyone would vote Nick last, he was the clear favorite to win after the last few times being an influencer. Just seems like if you’re serious about winning and not being there to just make friends it would be good strategy.

The two "most popular" players got sabotaged last night haha. I keep forgetting that these players don't vote the way players on Survivor vote and actually vote for the person who "outwit, outplay, and outlast" and played the game, even if they pulled dirty moves. Like...There's no way Ashley should've been in the final two haha.

Nick and James actually played the game, even though Nick ALWAYS got his way. James was strategic and almost always on point with his initial hunches, but he never closed the deal, second guessed himself a ton, and let the other person get what they wanted. Clearly that still worked out in his favor though lol. That and he actually made connections.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that outcome at all. Great finale though!

I'm not surprised James won at all. They played the perfect combination of getting people behind him emotionally while still being strategic. Especially considering it was clear that people were gunning for Kai and Nick based on the editing during the final rankings.

What was kinda most funny was that Nick and his whole alliance made it but that’s also why he lost. There was more of them probably thinking the others would put Nick higher so they put him lower themselves. And of course that alliance wouldn’t vote Kai high.

I still think they need a better way of picking a winner than just a straight vote at the end.

What drives me nuts about the show is that they are constantly trying to vote out catfishes when that is not the point of the show. There is no reward for voting out a catfish or punishment for voting out a real player. Instead they should all focus on voting out their competition and not care if a player is real or not.

Incredibly true. At the end of game it doesn't even matter who was a catfish or playing themselves haha. However, the reactions are pretty great.

I do like the randomness of the final vote because it means there’s no way to truly secure a win while playing the game. It really is just all about getting the final and having that 1/5 chance. I would say so far the system hasn’t really rewarded anybody undeserving, all 3 winners really played the game well

And yeah players that get hung up on the catfish stuff are losing the plot. To draw the conclusion that a fake profile must mean fake alliances is silly

I think if they vote out a catfish, then the total prize money should go up, but if they vote out a real person, the prize money drops.

At it's core, this show is still a trashy reality TV program that's a bit more intelligent that your average one which is why my wife and I will probably watch every season until it is cancelled.

Watching the third season over the holidays… Sometimes it’s really hard to buy this shows kayfabe. Like why would Daniel go visit Isabella, a person he’s has zero connection with all game and for whom the meeting only makes sense from the production standpoint of him getting to meet Sophia. Or how the different rules for the blockings suspiciously align with what makes good television:

got two clear alliances and two players that won’t back down? Lol it’s a double block night

got another two clear alliances and the same top two as last week, but while the “fair” thing to do is to let James pick because he backed down on Daniel the past week the producers really wanna send the new player no one really cares about home so Lol the final blocking is anonymous so the one guy can still get his way

or even just… the votes often don’t make sense. Either these people are really bad at strategy or there is a reason this show never reveals everyone’s votes because if they did we’d realize that they were rigging them (aka how did Nick get an influencer spot the second to last round despite being in a four alliance over a three alliance)

A problem with this is that people like Ruksana have a big advantage because there is no way the show would actually let someone fake being a little person so everyone could be very confident she was real. You’d also have to have to define clear rules in what being a catfish really is — is Nick a catfish for pretending to be a drummer? Are the people in relationships catfishes for pretending to be single?

Just finished S3, and much like the two before it, I loved it. This show is ridiculously entertaining. No problem with the winner whatsoever, thought they played a great game.

The whole Nick/Vince thing was hilarious, and I’d love to see that come back in S4, because there’s no way for the other players to tell when a burner profile or a real player is being added. Same goes for the clone twist.

The funniest thing for me was both times James and Nick were influencers, James was going on and on about playing his game and fighting for his side, and both times Nick coerced him into blocking one of his own lol
