gamepass is a good deal but not owning the games outright makes me anxious, like id rather just pay the money to own a game and guarantee i have it then depend on if i can scrape together 10 dollars every month because tbh right now most months i dont have an extra ten bucks

I prefer to have physically copies of games, but game pass is definitely the way to go for games I wouldn’t consider risking spending $60 on. For example: I’m going to buy Halo Infinite in stores, but I’ll play the avengers game via game pass

 

You are a completionist so I feel like Spider-Man has more content completion wise

 

Well I already have so many games I do own that I haven’t played that a. I wouldn’t waste the time with a game I wouldn’t spend the money on over them anyway and b. Would rather play those first before a game I don’t own

 

I’ve said it many times I’m bad at gaming besides smite where I’ve started a bunch of games and never completed them because I can’t focus

I do like game pass because of the new Xbox games coming to it day one but also it does suck because some games I started and missed out on because they left the service

 

I think gamepass has changed a lot of people’s minds that think that way. An example would be MLB The Show. A lot of people that never touch sports games tried it out and really enjoyed it.

 

I mean I’m open to literally any genre but specific games I have no interest in will probably do little to sway me if I give it a go on game pass, such as avengers, because I have such a big backlog of games I’m actually interested in playing

I get with sophgod is saying tho like yeah game pass is cool and it’s a great price but there’s also a bunch of games on there I could care less about

So it be easier just to focus on the ones I probably end up buying

 

My 13 year old brother is obsessed with the show and it’s all he plays. reminds me of high school when me and my friends with psp’s would be playing each other online during class lol
