seeing the videos of the OLED switch makes me really want to upgrade. I dont really need it but I play my switch in handheld a lot and that display looks so good. also cant wait for metroid to come out game looks so good. I hope this is the game that gets everyone into metroid like awakening did for fire emblem

 

I have a launch day Switch that overheats so I’m 100% buying a switch OLED if I can find one the day they release. Ideally I’ll walk into target that morning and walk out with a Switch OLED and Metroid Dread

 

I hope they have enough for everyone who wants it

 

With pre orders sold out I imagine some stores will maybe have a few day of

 

I'm still on the Switch Pro/Switch 2 train. There were stories a long while ago about Nintendo having people develop stuff in 4K, but now to have those stories corroborated is very interesting.

Someone did mention in the comments that they should have address the new accessibility features that allow you to skip levels or have infinite lives or add a jump button or have infinite stage time. It seems like even if you thought the game was too difficult not mentioning those features in your review is a HUGE oversight.

 

As far as I know, nope. It really doesn’t make sense.

 

metroid dread looks amazing. gonna be arrive nyc the day it comes out so im thinking ill pick it up from the nintendo store there. and if theres an oled switch there i might just have to pick it up.

Nintendo’s wording there is pretty strong though. Misleading your investors like that is illegal.

 

I feel like if Nintendo were trying to mislead people, they would say something more vague like "Nintendo does not comment on rumors" or something to that effect. Here, they're actively calling the reporting false.

 

Is it really though? Companies lie all the time - take Marvel/Sony denying that certain actors will appear in the new Spider-Man movie, when we already know who's in it from leaks. Wouldn't having big name actors be beneficial to investors, in the same way a 4K Switch would be?
