If they make the wild card, it is very possible that their path to a World Series win would be through beating 4 100+ win team and I would be so here for seeing that happen. And if any team has the black magic to do it, it's probably the Cardinals

So... the Mets are in the middle of yet another disappointing year and just auto-renewed my 20-game ticket plan without letting us know that was going to happen. Just an email receipt for ~$1200 with no explanation whatsoever. My family's been doing this for 14 years and never happened before. Called and they said that something was signed and that they can't refund it so talking to a supervisor tomorrow.

So yeah, fuck them. Awful organization no matter who runs it.

 

after hearing how terrrrribly they handled season ticket/ticket package refunds last season i would never, ever, ever sign up for anything they offer. horrendous customer service has been all i've ever heard.

 

Oh yeah, those were bad last year, but at least if you scrolled to the bottom of the email each month, clicked on a hidden link that just looked like bold text, and dealt with a call from the ticket rep asking "are you sure you don't want to purchase next years plan", you could get a refund. Certainly will be the last time though (probably would've been anyway since I'm likely moving next summer)
