Because it's subliminal and when you wake up and read it you go back to sleep and now you want a burrito when you wake up for the day.

 

I get irrationally angry when people say it's cold when it's like 17-20 degrees out. This happens every September/October when the temperature starts to drop. People be like "omg it's cold!" And I'm like no, just cause it's not shorts weather anymore, it's not cold. What's even worse is when people say it's "freezing" when it's really nowhere near freezing temperatures
I don't know why it pisses me off so much.

 

I hate whenever people complain about the weather partially because I'm such a people pleaser that I think they're asking me to change the weather

 

Ngl, I just checked your profile to make sure you weren't American. About to say haha. 17 F° is cold as shit, you can eat sand.

 

I was also hella pissed off at work today because most of the people I was working with were either non-stop complaining or terrible at their jobs. This one girl wouldn't stop talking about how much she wanted to leave because her boyfriend was having a yard sale. And like I get that we all complain about having to work when we'd rather be doing other things but there is a limit to how much whining I can take in a day.

I'm known to whine when it's less than 70 degrees. Not necessarily outside cause I dress for the weather, but I work in a small office kept too cold. I have to wear long sleeves, a jacket, and pants year round which sucks when it's 100 and baking hot outside

 

It's all good haha. I agree since it's not converted for the record. But I live in Florida so haha. I got a buddy in Yellowknife who freaks out every time I tell him the temperature here in December.

 

The lab has to stay at 55-60 so it's almost unbearable when it's cold outside.

It's 90's out right now and I wear long sleeves to work.

 

When the menu doesn't say an item comes with meat and you get the food and there is meat EVERYWHEREEEE. I ordered fettuccine alfredo. I carefully read the menu to make sure there was no meat and all it said was fettuccine pasta in an alfredo sauce. But it was all a lie and it had chunks of chicken in it. I'm just gonna have to start asking if everything has meat in it because I can't trust anything anymore! Like one time I ordered a veggie burger and they decided to randomly add bacon to it???? Why!?

 

People laugh at me and assure me my food is fine but I always tear it apart to make sure there's no meat. I've been burned too many times!

Trying to sleep is my frustration. Most fucking frustrating thing I know and people are either dense or just inconsiderate about it. "Just fix your schedule and go to bed earlier!" like either you're stupid or you think I'm stupid.

 

There shouldn't ever be a single instance where a customer service worker should have to tolerate a screaming child. Period.

 

1). In a few weeks we have a meeting over one of my clients which is normally routine but this one is a bit different so everyone will be there. People who are higher up than me who I don't typically associate with and who aren't normally there. Regardless of higher ups I'm soooo nervous just from all those people. I tend to shut down and fold into myself with large groups of people. Gonna try to advocate but I feel anxious.

2). The rodeo is in town any day now so all the streets are getting blocked off. Today someone came in the office to remind us that they're gonna let tourists park in our parking lot. Leaves us nowhere to park for blocks, and I can't walk to work cause I have to do home visits that are too far away. Whhhhy

 

20 percent of $1,176 is 235. I left with 54.17.

First two orders of the day totalled out to 162. I have zero dollars.

I'm getting closer to changing "sign the top copy please" to "tip me, learn to cook, or move to a country that doesn't place the responsibility of paying service workers on the customer."

 

Do you always work to go? To go was like punishment for us. You did get tipped out by servers, bartenders, etc but the tips were never good.

 

Yeah, always to go. We usually get more business than any server. Just ya know, people suck haha

 

This rando staying at my house has made herself right at home. Also my rm brought laundry baskets full of clothes and left them in the living room. Unless they're the rando's in which case she really made herself at home! Just annoying cause I'm leaving town this weekend and I like to clean before I do that to come to a clean house, plus a coworker is staying the night when I get back and I want it to be clean. Since this rando is here idk what I'm gonna come home to, and there's so much junk I can't clean anyway.
