Temple of Doom has so many great moments. The entire shootout at the beginning, the heart ripping, the mine chase, the bridge. I can't remember anything from Ford vs Ferrari.

I wouldn't pay to see Ford vs. Ferrari. A Spielberg film almost always requires attention, though.

Yeah, personally I'm not comparing Mangold's work to Spielberg's BEST... but Spielberg's best was mostly from years ago. The last Spielberg/Lucas attempt at Indy was terrible, and Mangold has done a great job with the last few movies he's put out, so I personally have much more confidence in him having the reigns than current-day Spielberg.

I think in order of confidence in the project I would still rather have Spielberg than not have him. I chalk up a lot of Crystal Skull's flaws to Lucas anyway. That said, Mangold is a solid director and I think this will be a good time. Like @phaynes12 said, it's going to have to try really hard to be the Worst Indiana Jones Movie.

They are filming some of this in my home city of Glasgow (Scotland). They have turned one of the streets in the city centre into New York and have been doing some stunt scenes. Pretty cool!

I saw that article earlier and it is just a lot of baseless speculation.

She will probably do some of the physical scenes the way the Transformers kid did in the other movie, but Ford is still the draw.
