    Now that I think about it, it’s wild that Mastodon has never put out a double album prior considering the prog direction they’ve been in since CtS.

    Love the new Mastodon song. Album runtime is 86ish minutes. This could be one of their best albums or possibly their worst if it doesn't earn that runtime.

    Yeah. I'm always leery of a band doing an LP clocking in that long. Inevitably, there's always too much filler. But we'll see. The new single is solid for a late-era Mastodon song so I'm hopeful I might enjoy this album more than any since Crack the Skye.
