It also doesn't help that Korn is on tour with Staind, who are very vocal about being anti-vax.

I was always wondering if everyone in that band is as nuts as Aaron Lewis...

I'm supposed to see them on Sunday and I might sell my tickets now.

I went to see KoRn last Thursday and while JD did have to sit a lot, it was still a good show. But now Munky is out and they have another fill-in on this tour already. Maybe sit it out if you’re on the fence. They’ll be playing the same amphitheaters next summer.

    Also. Fuck Aaron Lewis.

I dug Korn and Staind back in the day (actually saw Staind open for Korn on the Sick and Twisted tour in 2000 when Korn-mania was at its peak) but...I just can't justify seeing either of these bands anymore. I am sure Korn still puts a ton of effort in and I applaud them for sticking with it but their music hasn't interested me in a long time.

I'm a little slow. I know someone is filling in for fieldy, and now also for munky? Or they going on without him? They didn't specify at least that I know of

I understand that completely. I showed up to my seat as Staind was finishing their last song. I don’t know JD or Korns views on anything, so when I get free tickets I don’t mind seeing them. But do I ever listen to korn in the car? Never. Lol.

I also was a fan of Staind back in the early 2000s cock rock hey-day. I am going to see Slipknot next month. Lol. But mostly because I want to see Fever 333 and Code Orange. I still like Slipknot and KSE but again never listen to them.

Anddd I just won Breaking Benjamin / Papa Roach tickets on the radio. Haha. I call in just to see if I can win sometimes and I ended up the winner. So there is that.

Was it the Nassau Coliseum show?? I was there too! I was 12 years old, and my Dad bought us tickets for the GA floor, not understanding how wild it would get. At one point I remember he offered a security guard 50 bucks to let us sit in empty seats we saw on the side, but he refused haha

I'm with you, though. I tried revisiting their first four albums recently. There's still some stuff on self titled and Life is Peachy that I enjoy, but the next two albums, especially Issues, do absolutely nothing for me now. I scratch my head wondering why I was so obsessed with that album back in the day.

Actually crossed the river to NJ at Continental Airlines Arena due to it being more convenient date-wise though I think growing up in Southwestern CT Nassau was technically closer. Do you remember the “Twisted Animation” between the two bands? Wild that they even had to spend money on that back in 2000 as nowadays everyone can just putter around on their phones between acts.

Haha yeah I remember that, it was so bizarre. Funny that I kinda remember it being on the show's bill too, as if it was an opening act.

I still think it's weird that they announced a bunch of dates that overlap with Turnstile, is no one from Turnstile playing with them anymore?

I hate that ampitheater in Brooklyn. Takes for fucking ever to get to (and I even live in the borough) but I might take a stab at these.

I don't think I've ever made it to Coney Island in under 90 minutes. I love it, but it's a guaranteed 3-4 hours round trip for something so close, it's frustrating

Looks like people who bought tickets to Blue Ridge festival are being turned away at the gate because the place is at capacity...

Who the fuck though having a festival of that caliber in Danville was a good idea in the first place?

People are also saying the parking lot is a disaster and many people were stranded last night after the event ended on Monday and there were no shuttles to the parking lot.... Just look at the comments on their socials, it's so bad

And guess how many COVID restrictions are in place at Blue Ridge Rock Fest? I'll give you a hint: the event is being held in Danville, VA

Friends of mine are playing the fest and their team have told me the whole thing has been a disaster so far
