Well, Tennessee has a pretty terrible record against Pac-12 teams in my lifetime, so there's that (5-7). Also loathed the USC dynasty to kick off the millennium (and think an undefeated Auburn should've been co-national champions in 2004). Then throw in different sports rivalries influencing that (Lady Vols bball vs Stanford, for an example), and I just don't like many, if any, West Coast teams.

In yahoo pickem they had three "free" games. Aka a fbs vs gcs school with no spread. Normally theres a spread but for yahoo there is none so it's straight up. Normally you don't think about it and just take all the fbs schools. Well...

    Eastern Washington vs wash state
    Richmond vs Virginia
    Northern Iowa vs Iowa state

Oh...all 3 FCS teams won outright?? Haha crazy stuff

    Note: I picked Richmond. Woot.

I'll be surprised if Gus survives this season with this 4 man QB in and out bullshit.

Les, Gus, Mullen, and Sumlin could all be out of jobs at the end of the year. LSU would be fucking idiotic, Auburn would be dumb, Miss St. wouldn't have a choice, and I still have no clue what is going on in Texas A&M.

Les is just digging his hole deeper each time the offense sputters and looks like shit. It's unreal how such a big-time program can't develop a decent QB. And they still don't think outside the box when it comes to offensive schemes. I'm amazed Cam Cameron was allowed to come back.

Gus is not a real coach. He lucked out in 2013. The guy has no idea how to create an identity and is so unsure of what kind of offense he wants his team to have.

Miss State is back to being Miss State now that Dak is gone. Personally, I don't think they should think too highly of themselves and fire Mullen if they're not any good this year. Miss State is the Kentucky of the SEC West. They shouldn't even begin to think they'll win an SEC Championship in football.

And I haven't really been too impressed with Sumlin the past 2 or 3 seasons. Seems like Johnny Manziel was his meal ticket.

I mean, Jamarcus Russell wasn't bad at LSU. Neither was Mettenberger. Or Lee. Or Flynn. Like, you're really just looking at a guy who couldn't stay out of legal trouble and probably a literal squirrel and going "well he can't develop QBs." He's failed with two guys and those guys are just bad. Sometimes, you have bad players. It's hard to be outside the box with a guy who can't even play inside the box and I get why people would look at it and instantly blame Les but that doesn't make it correct. Cameron has this year and he should be gone. Les Miles should by all means be the coach at LSU though.

Understood. I feel the same way about Alabama as you did the USC dynasty so I totally get that. I was just curious as I am a Pac-12 fan so I was trying to understand the hate but I can see where you are coming from.

I'm turning into a Tennessee hater if not for you guys stealing Kongbo from us. He was a UW lean for a good month or two and then the Vols kinda snuck up outta nowhere and nabbed him.

We can loathe Alabama together, then!

Haha. Kongbo hopefully lives up to the potential. Dude has the build to be a monster if his skills match.

I've seen a couple people complain about a kid backing out of commitment in these threads, its dumb.

I'm not doing that. I am merely stating that I am miffed by losing kids to the SEC that are west coast kids. Granted, after the Pac-12s showing yesterday as a whole (Washington looked great, btw) I can't blame them.

UW is close to returning back to Don James type prominence so I expect they'll continue to keep their guys home in the next year or so (already kinda are) but yeah. In Kongbo's case, he wasn't from here but he lived here for a while and has close family across the border in Vancouver, B.C. so he was heavily rumored to UW for a long time and then out of nowhere TENN comes up and takes him.

I don't fault kids for choosing where they go. They want exposure and 829,429 uniforms (Oregon) and so I get it.

Also Kongbo was a JUCO, in this case. For what it's worth, he wasn't a high schooler.

Just saw how Nebraska honored the punter that died with a delay of game on the first punt of the game....damn that got me way more emotional than it should have
