I’m starting Monster Hunter Stories 2 today. Anyone play?

 

Been wanting to play it. Will get around to it eventually

Psychonauts 2 and Great Ace Attorney taking up my time right now

Yes it is amazing and I finished the main story a week or two ago

It’s fun, like the original Pokémon games but with better graphics, a lot of side stuff during and after you finish the stories. The multiplayer can also be fun especially as they update the game with more stuff continuously. Don’t take anything too seriously and you’ll have a good time.

 

most of the time you're completing side quests just by grinding, and then you cash them in to gain a bunch of xp when you return to town. i took my time with the main story and finished at about 60 hrs, and then a bunch of other side quests and high level monsters are available in the post game

 

Trueachievements started running a game give away everyday and it’s free to enter. If you are a pro member ($25/year) you get 100 entries. I’m assuming the sister sites are doing it as well (TrueTrophies/True/Steam).

For anyone with the PS4 version of Psychonauts 2: There might be a game-breaking glitch in the psi king level:

When you're in the the ear dude and touch dude stage after finding them at the campgrounds, you'll find a platform to fight some censors, then fight a panic attack. After the panic attack battle you emerge back in the mouth/nose level again for some reason and there doesn't seem to be a way back out. Smelling salts/exit brain doesn't work, and the instruments are no longer there.

Doesn't seem possible to progress any further once this happens (you won't be able to finish the game), so just a heads up.

Edit: Double fine customer support confirmed they're looking into a fix ^_^

 

Really frustrated with Hades right now, though I guess it's my fault for doing 17 runs in a row with the spear and Cosmic Egg to get Master of Arms and Amusing Chaos. I guess I just need to put those prophecies aside and start switching things up again. Losing is more fun when you're trying new combinations.
