Lol like we’re still in a pandemic, and Sony has already delivered 2 amazing games this year. Plus Kena coming.

 

Definitely worth noting that even if it’s not unanimously used, the overwhelming majority of publishers use April 1st-March 31st as the fiscal year. Think that’s why next February’s release calendar is already stacked and will continue to get more bloated the closer we get.

 

A lot of people also seem to be forgetting that the issue with Horizon's delay isn't really the players' problem, it's Sony's problem. Like, they're gonna take a huge financial hit not having a best-selling first-party title out for this holiday. But that's mainly their problem, not ours. Like it sucks for people who were looking forward to it, but the real loser in this situation is Sony themselves.

At least they aren't crunching in the middle of a pandemic to get it out this fall (as much as I'm sure Sony would like them to).

 

I agree with you, but I also read news on a Nintendo fan site called NintendoLife, and see exactly the same complaints from posters there, upset that one game or another isn't out yet and that Nintendo has nothing this holiday and blah blah blah, like every industry in the world hasn't been hamstrung from Covid. It's really super depressing.
