Totally. At the same time, I feel so bad for LB…I really felt like this year was gonna be their big comeback and now they just got set back by cancelling their shows

Boardmasters festival was 'super-spreader' event linked to nearly 5,000 Covid cases It is very worrying, the issue is it is very easy to fake a negative lateral flow test as you don't even have to take the test to report the result and i know this is a generalisation but a lot of the younger people here don't care and just was a fun time for themselves.

Wonder what happened. It doesn’t seem to be COVID related if they’re still playing tonight, and there were only 4 other dates left.

 

I was wondering the same thing. If it was Covid-related they def would’ve pulled the plug and not played tonight. So who knows

 

More postponed shows cuz a crew member got covid ik not same type of shows this sites posts about but it becoming more and more common

 

When I saw Craig and Geoff last week on stage Craig basically said when hes not on stage he doesn’t leave the house, he liked to be completely alone and in the woods.

After the set was over he went right out the side door and right into the van. (Geoff sold his own merch and was out all night). And I wanted to try to get my All’s Well record signed, I took my girlfriend home and I went back (10 minute round trip) and he was sitting in the van, alone, in the dark. The girl on tour with him came up to me (I was about 50 feet away) and asked if I had a record to get signed and I said yeah. She got it signed for me. I asked her if I could possibly get a picture with him and she said he’s lerely about it because of Covid. So she brought it back to me, I thanked her a million times and told her to tell him I said thank you as well. Then as I pulled away I noticed he was sitting in the back seat, alone; in the dark again.

He probably isn’t mentally in a great place so they are pulling the plug and he may be really worried about Covid? Just an assumption.

 

Jeez.... I really hope he's alright

 

Chon did this on tour a while ago. They had a screen behind them showing audience members playing Smash. Chon are huge Smash fans.

 

Me too. I periphrases what he said on stage. He basically said he’s very much an introvert when he’s not on stage. He said he puts all his energy out when he's on stage.

When I was a younger, Chiodos fan I never really thought about or understood his mental health struggles. Now it’s clear. And I hope he’s okay and can get that DRUGS tour off and going.

 

That is really sad to read. I hope the best for Craig as well and really look forward to seeing him again in November.

 

I brought my proof of vaccine card and mask to the outdoor Rise Against show lastnight here in SLC, assuming I’d be required to have both. Not the case at all. Haha.
