I feel like with the OF deal, it shouldn't be too hard to get another platform up and running by October. Especially since it seems like most people on the platform have their largest followings through like twitch, Instagram, etc. Unless I'm mistaken on that, it seems like the biggest loser in this will be OF themselves because they just torpedoed the only reason people use their site

running massive internet companies is hard work. its not the kind of thing you can just throw up in a day. Plus, you need a platform that both the sex workers using it and the people supporting them can trust. That kind of trust isn't earned for everyone automatically.

Just the 4th day of my new job and already got an email that someone on my floor tested positive for covid lol. Right now they have a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote - I'm in the office every day since I'm new and need to be trained) but they are currently going through phases and the plan is by September 7th everyone will be fully back in the office. Wouldn't be surprised if that changes since delta doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with Quiznos but there haven’t been any in Northeast Ohio in like, 15 years. Mesquite Chicken and Bacon with some Batch 81 sauce was my absolute jam. I still crave it.

Mr Hero, which may only be an Ohio/Midwest franchise was one of my favorites too.

I rarely hit up chain sub shops anymore. Just get them from local pizza places. But I don’t really have any complaints with most (Jersey Mike’s, Penn Station, Jimmy John’s, Subway - they’re all fine and I can find something I like at all.)

but like... why not stand up to the credit card companies? make it clear that they are the one pushing for this change?

I feel like If OF cared about their sex workers, they could do more to stand up for them. Of course, given I've heard multiple stories of women having a subscriber turn abusive/stalker and OF's response be to simply refund the stalker and provide zero support for the women that really shouldn't be a surprise.
