over here we got so many pizza places and italian delis. not to mention primo and more wawas then churches. i cant speak to jersey mikes since they didnt have very good veggie options the one time i tried but i could not imagine going to subway.

 

For real. There’s a local one that is decent. People gush over it and every time I have it I’m like wow, that’s a good cold sandwich, which is also the worst type of sandwich

 

Cold Cut Sandwich is also very dictated on the quality of meat used. Places cheap out on their meat quality as like the first thing. Think the easiest place to see that is what they use on their Italian.

 

for me theyre simple and filling and easy to eat but also still very versatile. i travel a lot and you just cant beat the practicality of a hoagie on the road. just a solid dish tbh

 

Jersey Mike’s is the best in terms of chain sub shops main reason being they slice the meats right in front of you. I honestly used to love subway as a kid. I was obsessed with the Black Forest ham lol. My college had a subway too so I went a lot then and it’s fine but any local sub shop is probably going to be better.
