Yeah the venue workers there must not be vaccinated

 

Sorry. I mis-remembered. “More time then we have”. So as the last poster said a ton of employees must be unvaccinated.

Super confusing for attendees regarding these lineup changes: "This act doesn't feel like the conditions are safe enough so they've cancelled. However, THIS act is totally cool with the conditions/policy and will be playing instead." To be fair, it's understandable how older performers are a bit hesitant to do these large-scale events as well as the fact that acts traveling over from outside the country probably face all sorts of insane obstacles.

 

Kind of sounds like this only applies to the San Antonio date

edit: that is a Descendents headliner show, not a Rise Against date

 

I don’t get why rise isn’t doing that for their tour since they are all vaxxed

Really happy to see this, I love every venue listed. I think if this becomes the norm then shows will be potentially okay

Requiring a negative test from the last 72 hours is useless considering COVID can progress. If you're gonna implement a test requirement as opposed to going full vaxxed only, at least do a day-of PCR test requirement. I know the validity there is worse, but I'm not going to feel any more comfortable at a show knowing that there might be someone there who tested negative three days ago who may be exhibiting symptoms now or have had the virus progress further to a point where it would show up on a positive test now.

Thank god I don't have any tickets for shows until Thrice in October so things can be sussed out a little further with this or get cancelled/postponed in an appropriate time frame as the delta wave progresses.

 

Anyone interested in ONE wristband to NJ's Sea.Hear.Now festival for next month? Its a GA wristband to get into both days of the festival. I purchased back in March 2020, but sadly not going now.

 

I get your point, and a lot of 9:30 patrons also made note of this in the comments. Technically, yes, vaccinated patrons could still be COVID-positive attending a concert, but the club is doing their best to curb that with this new policy. I would be willing to get a COVID test (even though I'm vaccinated) before a concert if I knew it was required for entry. Thanks for bringing up this point.

 

I was more referring to unvaccinated patrons who elect to provide a negative test result as opposed to providing vaccination verification. Should have been more clear there. The risk is obviously mitigated much more if you're going vaxxed only.

 

How much? I really can / only want to go Saturday. I’m assuming there is no way to split them.
