Have you ever gone to a show and when it was over you were saying "Now I can die happy"? Well, now you actually can lol

 

I might be ignorant here, but as a Midwesterner who loves Terror but doesn’t listen to metal, it feels like a raw deal that the south gets them headlining with Drain, OSC, & Dare while we get them in the middle of this bill. Terror is one of the bands I’ve most missed seeing during quarantine and I straight up might skip this when it comes through my city

 

Dying Fetus has always had some crossover appeal so it doesn't surprise me that Terror is touring with them at all. The last time I saw them was with Hatebreed and Code Orange. It's definitely a death metal tour though. LoL. Stuff sucks, but they'll be back through with a hardcore tour package in the next year or so because it's Terror.

Oddly enough, American Football is one of my favorite bands but I've never listened to Owen. Any records in particular worth checking out?

 

The Avalanche (his newest one) is really great. Highly recommended, especially if you liked AF's newest album. My favorite of the older Owen albums is I Do Perceive and At Home With, but there's not really a bad Owen album.

 

They are all pretty solid, but my favorites are "At Home With Owen", "New Leaves", and "The Avalanche"

regarding that Wallows gig at the Roxy last week -- vaxxed-only rule and masks required. I hid in the back anyway since it felt weird to be back in a tiny, sweaty indoor place again, but I would guess that 99.8% of the kids there wore masks the entire time, as mandated. I was impressed, but definitely wouldn't expect it at every gig with the rules (unless they're actually enforced by security).

 

I don’t think I’ll be going to any shows that have mask requirements. Not that I don’t support them, but considering how hot I get inside venues as is, that sounds like a fucking nightmare.

 

Rise Against cancelled their New Orleans show tonight

 

Any reason why? I'm worried about the rest of the tour

 

oh shit, if Rise Against cancels Utah in a couple weeks, I'll be so bummed! Dying to see the Descendents again
