I’ve seen some people claiming the guy in question was shouting the mascot’s name (Dinger, apparently) and not the n word. I don’t buy it, and it sure sounds like the latter to me. My hearing is also pretty shitty. I’m assuming the former is bullshit and this was in fact a white supremacist pos?

Didn’t think so. It’s just absolutely wild to me, even knowing full well how many fuckin terrible people exist, that such blatant racism doesn’t elicit at least some response from ANYBODY. Something, anything. Just insane

Genuinely shocked that the person was not identified. If I was in that crowd and saw someone shouting that I would get security over there. How can no one in that section have done something about it?

 

I mean... this tweet/video seems to show it wasn't that word. But honestly dinger and the other word don't even sound the same. But, the internet has shown me/others that you'll hear what you want/are told to hear at times (ex. yanny or laurel, brainstorm or green needle vids).

Yeah that guy in the video is, 1,000% not the person yelling. Its so funny how the racists in the comments are belittling and criticizing people for “jumping to narratives” when all they needed was a blurry video of a man waving to settle their beliefs that nobody could ever utter the N word, who would do such a thing??????

The only thing I would say to give any merit to the claim that the person was actually saying Dinger is the fact that no one in the stands complained about the guy and pointed him out to security because I really hope that on that situation everyone around him wouldn’t just let it go unchecked

 

The only thing that makes me think he's saying Dinger is that nobody turned or looked around, etc. In no place in the country could you yell that word and not get heads turned.

 

The guy in the video posted above is definitely not the person in question. Not sure how anyone can think otherwise
