Some users in this website would rather listen to bands with abusers in them than literally any other band without abusers in them, many who could use the support way more right now in these still uncertain times than a band like ADTR. It’s baffling.

Everything should be vaccinated only. If you want to go to shows, get vaxxed!

I’m sorry but if I was a band touring this fall I’d seriously consider cancelling shows in problem areas like Texas and most of the south.

Wouldn’t make much sense cus Texas is a massive market. We have so many shows sold out here already too

Also there are people in Texas who got vaccinated and will wear a mask and all that who want to see shows and it would suck for tours to be cancelled there because of incompetent leaders and unvaxxed idiots. Not to mention the artists who live in Texas who would be affected by this.

I agree with all of those points. I was more saying if leaders won’t allow venues to require masks and vaccination it might be smarter for artists to skip those markets. I get that’s it’s a huge market, but it’s a huge risk if local leaders won’t allow venues to protect themselves and their patrons especially if numbers are bad in those areas. All in all, it’s probably far too late for any routing changes like that to happen and shows being cancelled is an unfortunate reality. I’ll be shocked if I even get to go to half of the shows I have tickets for this fall.

I read about LA considering vax requirements for indoor activities like NYC is and I'm really hoping they go through with it

Are politicians really able to legally mandate that private companies can't put mask mandates in effect? That seems wild to me.

And counter to all of those "free market" arguments they use to justify all sorts other shitty things.

I’m vax and I’m more comfortable being around other vax people. But being vax doesn’t mean I can’t spread it or get covid. Being vax only causes less serious symptoms and less likely to get it. I’m all for freedom to choose. So if people don’t wanna get the vax let them not get it they should still be able to go shows with a negative test result

Didn't Teenage Bottlerocket find a loophole for this? $25 vaxxed, $10,000 unvaxxed.

The bakery can refuse to make a gay wedding cake, but if a venue makes you wear a mask, oh no!!

The Showbox in Seattle just announced Vaccination’s or negative test required and oh my the comment section is a cesspool of brain worms. Half of it is people comparing this to the Holocaust or Apartheid and hoping the venue will close forever. I can’t even fathom making how people are making that comparison.

Not sure if it was mentioned in here but volumes/varials co headliner is about to be announced. Looks like it’s b/c markets

Is Varials really that big? Or have Volumes really fallen off that hard? I thought the opposite would be true with Michael Barr rejoining. Like I could see a Volumes tour with Varials as direct support.

Varials has hype and Volumes has fallen off a bit so it makes sense. I think more people will be there for Volumes but Varials will by far get the crowd moving much more.
