Yeah I really enjoyed the second one

The main complaint I’ve seen about the second one is that it essentially ends in the same place the first did.

 

Yea but like…setup for the third.

 

"Ending" of the second film legitimately feels like someone forgot to bring the last 10-15 pages of the script to set lol. Also one of the creatures just happens to get on a boat that drifts to that island? Idk. It was fun, but shoddy.

 

I wish I could get into A Quiet Place enough to care about rewatching to see the sequel

 

A quiet place part 3: it might get loud

 

Y’all in here recommending the empty man but pooping on Quiet place 2 lmao. I’m 50 minutes into the empty man and I’ve cringed no less than 8 times. I even had to buy it to watch!

 

I did not care for the Empty Man and I was pretty annoyed at the run time.

 

Re: empty man - Just got to the sauna scene and I’m cracking up. I love getting recs in here but this is horrid IMO.

 

I haven’t watched the empty man solely because it’s called the empty man. Reminds of bye bye man which was one of the worst horror films I’ve seen in theaters

 

I mean, by no means is this bye bye man, but the after-school-special-CW feel is fully present here.

 

Neither were particularly good lol

 

Bye Bye Man could not have been worse.

 

AQP2 was fantastic

 

My main complaint for a quiet place 2 was I feel they didn't give Emily blunts character enough to do

 

Update. The Empty Man was not really my cup of tea. I liked the intro bit a lot though.

 

wow it's almost like different people have different opinions or something

 

It's just painful to hear it from @Aaron Mook ...he's like a savant when it comes to horror. My opinion feels so invalidated.

Quiet Place 2 was pretty good, I thought.

The Empty Man was more interesting than the marketing would lead you to believe, but it still wasn't that great.

 

Intro would make a great short.

 

doesn't really matter to me so much that y'all didn't really like it because you can't help what you do and don't respond to, but knowing we have folks who are open to the suggestions of others in the thread is very cool to see
