Pardon the interruption when its Wilbon and Kornheiser is good. They come off as genuine and agree on things quite a bit. Highly Questionable is just good comic relief. No real serious/annoying talking head bullshit.

Still can't get over KO winning the title. I remember seeing him a long long time ago in some shitty promotion and the guy has left an impression on me since. If you would have told me then he'd be a future WWE champion I would have laughed. Even just a couple years ago we all would have. Crazy how much this guy has accomplished in his short time with the company. Very very well deserved. I hope he gets a long reign as champ.

I feel like Authority-backed champs are not purely unique to football season...

 

well over the last few years the only face champions have been Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and Roman Reigns and that always happens in the spring/summer haha

 

Read some weird stuff regarding plans for reigns and Rollins, actually really curious what happens Monday.

 

Yeah it's not just football season, this is pretty normal. And KO may not even really be an authority backed champ, he might not be involved in the authority angle, it may just be Rollins/HHH

 

Finally finished LU season 2. Season 2 was definitely way stronger than 1, especially for building the mid-card. And somehow they made Vampiro bleed more than last time...

But Season 3 has gotta be fucking nuts.

 

Based on the promos (and spoilers), very very much so.

 

Kornheiser and Wilbon came off as just a couple of grumpy old men, but I haven't watched the show in a few years. I'm super into advanced stats for sports, so their eschewing of their value always turned me off from it. I enjoyed HQ because I think Dan Lebatard and Bomani Jones are two of the most thought-provoking, interesting voices in the sports media community.

 

Ive mostly avoided spoilers (wasnt so easy for season 2...), but, I wish i didnt know the Sexy Star one. Feel like thats gonna be really cool

 

good god, the Metallik/Tozawa match was great ring psych. Pretty clear WWE signed Metallik to push him, but, god damn, what a match.

 

To anyone that listens to Cheap Heat: did yours start with a MLB ESPN commercial that repeated for 12 minutes?
