It hurts me to say this but I don't think he is currently an elite athlete. I could probably outrun most catchers too but most of them are not "elite"

There is literally no chance they trade Alvarez. BVW isn't here anymore. (Mauricio for Scherzer though?)

 

I’d hang on to Alvarez unless it really is an incredible situation but yeah Mauricio has to be gone given the Lindor deal and given that theyd still entertain bringing in Baez or Story.
