I really want to watch that, but also I really want there to be a song or two I haven't heard by the time I hear the album haha.

I knew 91 would be amazing. Not sure how different it is than the album version but damn.

I listened to Chinatown and Stop Making This Hurt and I regret it, but hey! I'm excited.

I just cant get into Stop Making This Hurt. I have enjoyed the other songs but the instrumental to Stop sounds like a song from the TV show Community .

I don’t know how anyone can watch a Bleachers performance and not love them.

I think I would consider Jack my single favorite musician when you take into account all his previous and current bands, plus all his production work. Just an insane body of work where he consistently creates music I absolutely LOVE.

That being said, this is probably my least favorite Jack era, haha. new Lana album kinda sucks, Clairo album isn't very good, new St Vincent album sucks, new Bleachers songs are good but the production is whack.

BUT, all his recent Taylor stuff is still A+, Solar Power is fucking great. Still love him to death, but these are some of the first albums from him that I haven't quite liked

Despite what I say above, the production itself on the Lana, Clairo and St Vincent albums is still high quality and really GREAT, the full picture though just isn't there

The newest Lana album is one of the best of the year IMO. But also it seems like your problem is less Jack and more the direction these specific artists are taking.

New Clairo is fantastic and every song from TTSOSN rules.

I wish the production was different too but I can deal.

every band who thinks recording a record to sound “live” will capture the live energy fails.
It just sounds like shit. See JEW’s “damage”.

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm trying to get at. Obvi love Jack, but for the first time.. ever? he worked on 3 albums that I don't like, and they are all in a row

Really loved reading the Billboard article, especially the blurbs from all the artists he works with

  22. Can the most well known and scene respected pop producer in years, remix his album so it sounds good?

    I’m so disappointed in this.
