I've talked about this many times in the MO threads. They used to perform The Only One this way for years, and it was awesome.

I've seen them open their shows this way back in the 2010/2011 era.

Just started my first watch of that yesterday. crazy.

 

Would bet significant money it’s with the same parties he’s done it with previously (Kevin, Casey Crescenzo, Dustin Kensrue). MAAAAYBE add Julien to the mix.

Andy Hull & Julien Baker solo shows.

My mind would be blown.

 

They should absolutely tour together after both their respective upcoming tours. They could even collab on a song or songs (that aren’t a cover) and perform them together on the tour. No shade towards Foxing (or other artists) because I love them, but I feel like the vibes at a Manchester Orchestra + Julien show would be unreal, compared to some of their previous bands they have played with.

 

a RAGC/Julien show would be too much of a similar sound, but a MO/Julien show, hell yeah

 

Wouldn’t he have to open for Julien at this point?

 

While Julien has absolutely grown her audience massively the last year and a half or so, she’s still behind MO when you crunch the numbers.
