Have any of you experienced the flashing folder with a question mark when trying to boot up your Mac? Hoping to get a heads up for what I'm in for at my appointment at the Apple Store tomorrow.

 

I had that, I needed the hard drive to logic board cable replaced.

 

Did the apple store get you all squared away? how's it running now?

 

Does anyone with Apple Store/Best Buy experience know how difficult/expensive it would be to get a new battery put in my iPhone 6? Bought from Best Buy at launch with coverage.

 

I didn't make it there yet, i'm in the midst of moving to a new apartment so its been chaotic. She's running great though even without half the RAM being properly installed.

Yes it means the system can't find you boot drive, for me that meant I had to get my SSD replaced.

 

I went to the Apple Store last night. At best, this will be a $56 repair to replace a cable. At worst, a $143 repair to replace the hard drive.

My most recent Time Machine back up is from about a week ago, so I won't be losing too much data either way.

Has the screen resolution been leaked yet? Hard to imagine they haven't put out a 2k retina display.

 

I believe I have seen the screen resolution leak on the MacRumors forums.

Really don't get it. On top of that, they don't conform with the typical resolutions put forward by other phone manufacturers.

 

I'm really hoping they finally hop on the quick charge bandwagon this year. With the small batteries they use it would be such a quick process to charge.

There's one thing they're never going to do: care about other phone resolutions.

 

I expect some AirPods. Hopefully fully wireless. With a nice charging case. I'd buy a pair.

 

Ditto. At a decent price, I'd grab them up. Tired of wires tangling when I mow the grass or go for a run.

 

Wish I'd waited to see what the headphone options with the phones are before I went out and got these Bose wireless Sound Sports that don't hold a charge for shit.

 

I really hope the midnight/dark blue color comes to life. the mockups looks so sleek.

 

I'm just ready for 3GB of RAM in that 7 Plus. Gonna feel so nice compared to the 1GB in my 6 Plus.

Does anyone here have experience with Apple's upgrade/payment plan? Back when I got my 6 Plus, they were still offering subsidized phones, so the process of purchasing a new iPhone has changed completely since then. Do you pay Apple directly per month? It looks like the better deal than going through AT&T's Next plan.

Unfortunately, Gazelle is offering less for my 6 Plus - 64GB than they are for a 16GB. I need to also find another avenue of selling it.

 

This seems like a bad thing.
