First show back is gonna be Enforced/Mutually Assured Destruction. Also currently have tickets to the Thrice and Menzingers fall tours. I'd go see more, but having a toddler kind of makes you adjust your priorities.

yea I gave up on that show pretty quickly but would’ve been entertaining for sure

it also conflicts with modest mouse who I already bought tickets for haha

 

Houston folks:

 

I saw my friend's band on Thursday and they were great. My first big show back will be Phish in August. I also have tickets for the Korn/Staind/68 tour.

 

My boss is asking me to use some of my 175 hours of PTO I’ve saved up before our busy season starts in the fall, and I have a bit of money for cancelled Alaska airlines flights to use up. So I’m on the lookout for awesome shows anywhere in the US between now and August.

Some of you know my taste. Are there any shows coming up soon you think I’d be into that I may have skipped over because they weren’t coming to Utah? Haha. Most of the shows I’ve looked at so far in some of the bigger cities are happening later in the year so they won’t work out.

 

How is the coheed tour selling

 

Speaking of bands with weird drawing (or, in this case, streaming power), how in the hell did Mindless Self Indulgence get two million monthly listeners on Spotify? Last time I checked, they were averaging around 150,000 monthly listeners. If they were to somehow tour again, would they be hitting up bigger venues (about 2,000 cap)?

 

I can only dream…

 

Did they get TikTok famous? That’s the only explanation I have

I’m kinda all over the place. Pop, emo, punk… here’s a playlist with a bunch of shit I like

 

They did get a revival via Gen Z kids discovering them on Tik Tok. Makes me miss them so much. They put on some of the best shows I ever went to. Absolute weird chaos between antics and then fans dressed as everything from Jesus Christ to wearing full football mascot uniforms.
