Yeah this is exactly where I'm at. I went ahead and pulled the trigger because I found one for sale at a store nearby for $50 off sticker. Got the cheapest model (have plenty of external storage and it has 8/8 CPU/GPU) and it's still wicked fast! M1 chip is quite something

 

Every time I interact with an M1 device I come away disgusted because my Macbook Pro feels like it's emulating MacOS in comparison.

I feel like I've never had a Mac reformat go the same way or require the same steps twice, so this is a welcome change.

 

I have always hated how The Replacements' Pleased to Meet Me sounds (even more than Tim!) but holy shit the Dolby Atmos version absolutely whips

I used to be a Genius and I feel like half of my job was praying a reinstallation of the OS would fix an issue or even work.

 

So when does everyone think we will get the 14inch and 16inch Pros. Possibly late Summer or at worst November?

 

Do we have any idea when the new AirPod Pros come out? Target has the current version $60 off right now and I may just go ahead and get even though I wanted to wait for the new ones. My base AirPods are on their way out so I’m ready to replace them.

 

Not till the end of the year so rumours say. The new AirPods however could be any time as we’ve had concrete leaks.

 

Just ordered a new Apple TV (and a new actual TV). Excited to finally make the jump to 4K and an 18-inch increase in screen size.

Great choice! I bought a 55” B9 OLED from LG and I adore it. Can’t help but not regret going for the 65” though!

 

Awesome! It's Wirecutter's current top pick for best OLED. We considered the 55 inch, but did the measurements and realized 65 would be a better fit. We could've gone bigger, but there's not much selection between 65 and 77 inch, which was too big.

 

Go for the 83 inch! lol
