What I'm expecting for E3 from Nintendo:

-At least one of the last two DLC Smash fighters announced, maybe both
-Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD for Switch
-Something related to Xenoblade, maybe Xenoblade 3
-Shin Megami Tensei V
-No More Heroes 3
-Potentially the rumored 2.5D Metroid from MercurySteam
-Potentially the Donkey Kong game from the Mario Odyssey team
-Detailed look at Breath of the Wild 2
-Nothing about Switch Pro
-Nothing about Metroid Prime 4 beyond maybe a throwaway statement that "Develop is proceeding smoothly at Retro"

 

Considering they said there's nothing about hardware in their presentations, nothing about Switch Pro is already confirmed.

I think they should should a cinematic trailer for MP4, but other than that I think all your stuff is pretty spot on.

 

A new DK game would be so fucking great.

i'd actually really like a remaster or at the least a port of DK 64, it's been so long since i played that game and i don't have an N64 (or the game for that matter) anymore

 

We know Nintendo won’t be announcing any hardware at E3 so maybe they’re shadow dropping some heavy hitters or a Zelda collection?

 

Maybe you'll be able to play a Breath of the Wild 2 demo at GameStops?

I bought BOTW the other day and it's beautiful so far. My only complaint is there is way too much time spent slowly scaling up mountains. It's just tedious and not very fun

Didn’t Jeff Grub eat crow recently about Starfield or something?

 

Yeah he was saying something like "Starfield is 100% launching this year, mark it down" and then Jason Schreier was like "Starfield is coming out later than everyone thinks, don't expect it until later in 2022".

Grubb isn't very reliable, he likes to pretend he's an insider but doesn't have the track record to back it up. I was mostly responding to the tweet he was quoting there. And even then, it's all just hypothetical obviously.

 

Yeah Nintendo said the E3 direct will only be about software
