Galtier to Everton is picking up steam. He'd play a 4-4-2 system, apparently. That'd suit some of the better players that we have at the club already. However, we'd be crying out for two wingers. I think this might be the summer we finally get Zaha.

 

I think regardless of the manager we bring in, switching to a back 3 might be beneficial for our fullbacks. We need new CBs regardless of formation. While it might be a little too inexperienced, I’d like to see what a back 3 of Joe Rodon - Jaochim Anderson - Ben White would look like.

France is just... woooof. When Tolisso is your "weak point" you're doing prettttttttty well. The only position they're not really stacked in is GK.

I do have a soft spot for Giroud. I think he’s overlooked too often when considering the goals he’s provided at both Premier League and international level.

 

I was just thinking this as I was scrolling Reddit and saw he'd scored a brace.

Like, I'm not an Arsenal fan so I never watched him week in, week out, but I've always thought he was criminally underrated. He's going through a bit of a renaissance recently reputation wise, where people are giving him credit where it's due, but I feel like he's been consistently undervalued. But maybe I'm missing something not watching him often.

 

I've always liked Giroud. The only thing nowadays is that his mobility is pretty low and he doesn't link or create space for others near the level he used to. He can finish still but the chance needs to be created for him. If you're alert to his near post runs then you can keep him quiet for long periods. France have so many options for creating that maybe it doesn't matter so much but when it comes to the big games there's a risk that he offers too little.

 

Giroud needs to come to MLS (Charlotte) and dominate
