Yeah I definitely find myself getting tired more often in my 30's than my 20's

30's are much better emotionally/financially, but so much worse physically lol.

When I was 22 I could run 3 miles, go home and binge-drink, sleep for 4 hours, wake up and take a midterm exam. Now I step off a curb wrong and my back hurts for a week.

I think about some of the shit that I did throughout my 20s consistently and don't know how it didn't kill me. My first job out of college, I had a 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. shift and I used to go out to the bars on weeknights literally until 2 or 2:30 and then wake up in time to be at work at 6:30 a.m. Like, I couldn't even fucking fathom doing that now. I would die.

I still drink 4-5 nights a week, but mostly keep it to just 2-3 beers per night. But I'm typically in bed by 11:30 every night and don't have to wake up until after 7 a.m. so I never feel any effects the next day.

Physically, I've played basketball 3x a week, every week, every year for the past 10 years (with 9 months off due to COVID), but in my 20s, i never got sore, injured or tired. Literally as soon as I hit 30, I developed all sorts of issues with my knees, ankles, etc. I still play all the time, but I ice like crazy, pop Motrin like skittles and stretch like a motherfucker every day.

I've changed my eating habits considerably over the past few years as well. Completely stopped drinking pop and barely, if ever, eat fast food (minus Chipotle or Chick-Fil-A once or twice a month), cut out bread and processed meats and most junk food. I try to just eat fruits for lunch and salmon or grilled chicken for dinner.

This past winter I put on Covid weight in part to staying in and being inactive. I haven’t been exercising as much as I’d like to nowadays but trying a new diet, basically vegetarian keto diet. I’ve been having weird digestive issues before that, feeling like shit even after a small home cooked dinner.

I’m 24 and the pandemic killed all my energy. Just 2 years ago I worked an 8 hour shift, went to a Brockhampton concert, partied with friends until 4am and then opened the next day. I have to take a nap after going to the grocery store now.

It would definitely be tragic and not hilarious if it was a Challenger

The big problem is that these microbreweries don’t understand there’s more to beer than hops.

That top three is not good. I figure I have to put one of them with my #5 spot because it's likely going to be one of them, but I keep going back and forth as to which is the worst of the bunch. Yang's probably the most progressive of the three, but his campaign is so bad and now he's really jumped on the "we need more cops" bandwagon. I certainly won't put Adams, but I keep going back and forth as to which of Yang or Garcia is better. Still hoping the AOC endorsement helps Wiley, but it probably won't be enough

I do like a good cider though

And I don't mind Blue Moon, but not sure that really qualifies as beer

Acting like boomers would even be able to deal with the blackouts and rationing that went on during that period is hilarious. Fuck we can't get through a few days of an issue with gas without people acting like petulant children.
