Oh man I can't wait to see what Corny thinks about this lol.

 

No doubt. They have have 1-2 matches a week and easily fill that gap.

 

Also, this better lead to Jericho and KO coming to the ring, and Jericho giving everyone the gift....of Kevin Owens, Universal Champ, drink it in!

 

Raw was awesome

if raw and smackdown were truly different entitites (as best as they could), smackdown has no chance of topping that main event

 

Little late to the party. That was awesome. So happy for KO and the beginnings (hopefully) of face Seth.

 

Best part, if Im WWE, they didnt even have to turn Roman heel to get that WTF ending.

 

Now to stay up all night watching Kevin's Weekend Escapades to get a sense of how far he's came.

in other news...

* i fucking hate that Foley would hold the belt on his shoulder as if he was champion. commissioners and office folk don't do that.

* great to see the Trips surprise. knew something was coming, wasn't expecting that.

* does this start Reigns getting new finishing moves? KO and Seth kicked out of superman punches and power bombs and god knows whatever else he uses as a finisher numerous times tonight.

* i never like when someone gets 'handed' a title, but still, this was great.

* as talked about each week on What Culture, didn't Vince want Raw to be "against" Smackdown? yet they have SD commercials constantly and during their championship match they have the fucking screens blasting away about Backlash - an SD only event. i know it's the same company, but either do what Vince says or don't say that at all.

 

That was awesome. So happy KO is champ.

 

I mean I don't see why he would get new finishers? I think they were just trying to get the point across that these guys were laying it all out there for the championship.

 

The first actual confirmation of a Raw Cruiserweight guy, although given the commercials for the division he was pretty much guaranteed. The roster so far, going by the guys given time these past two weeks: Swann, Dar, Kendrick, Perkins, Gargano, Ciampa and Alexander.

 

Man that was a great finish, didn't expect HHH at all.

 

In ratings and in social media, sure. Which is why Talking Smack is angling for attention same way the Raw main event is.

But, even in kayfabe, its hard to find a reason a wrestler would say "dont watch Backlash". Or, "only subscribe to the network on monthly patterns that match RAW ppvs!"

And, he didnt lose cause his finishers failed. He did them all outside the ring, and had knocked KO out to the point that Rollins pinned Reigns without interruption. And presumably, had HHH wanted it, KO gets pinned by Rollins. HHH rolled all 3 guys back into the ring

If anything, its Romans power that allowed HHH to make his move. Unless everyone was laid out by Superman punches and a spear, it couldnt have happened.

The booking of that match, from opening promos to ending was all great. Nobody looked weak, new feuds are all possible, and nobody saw that ending coming. Great all around

I wish Seth would get a new finisher.

 

Do we know if Gran Metalik well be on the main roster ? He's fucking great.

 

No way he still uses it now....hopefully

 

Replace the middle hour of that Raw with cruiserweight stuff and you would've had a good show.

Ending was great. Sets up so many good storylines. Animosity between HHH and Steph? Kevin embracing a role with the authority? A step on the path to a face turn for Seth? Well done WWE.

 

BOLA this weekend! The only time where spending hours reading twitter updates for three consecutive nights is more entertaining than actually watching alot of wrestling shows.

I'm thinking either Marty Scurll or Dalton Castle are winning,

 

I think Riddle or Cobb.
