Mario party has sucked for a decade

 

Peak Mario Party > peak Wario Ware. I don’t mind if the last few Mario party games have been bad when there are 6 great ones.

 

Nothing better than losing by two stars and somehow getting three in the last three turns and having your friends rage.

 

Mario Party switch is really good!

 

A 3 pack remastered of Mario Party 1-3 would also make them millions and make everyone happy

 

It would be better if we had more mini games and more than only 4 boards.

 

Would Smash Bros be considered a party game? If so then that’s the best, but if not then I’d agree that Mario Kart is the best, followed by Mario Party.

 

I never remember feeling like there were too few mini games. More boards, yeah I could see that being a complaint. But I actually really like all the other modes they added, like the co-op River mode and the rhythm mode and stuff, so that almost makes up for it to me.

By the way, I bought the Ask Iwata book and it's really cool. Really nice design too (I got the physical version).

You'r right though, multiplayer is a different ball game. I don't ever have any opportunities to play real life multiplayer anymore however.

 

Can't stand Mario Party tbh, and frankly I don't look back fondly on any memories of playing it lol. Like, of the actual gameplay experience.

Most vivid Mario Party memory is getting a goddamn blister on my hand in the middle of my right palm from rotating the goddamn N64 joystick in one of the minigames. Bad!

 

Never played monster hunter so I downloaded Rise last weekend and I now only exist for monster hunter

 

I need to get back into MonHun and play the new content. Been binging Dragon Quest 8 for 3DS tho.

 

I beat all the advanced quests, the last two they added were really good. I’m not sure what the new update will have but it’s in a few weeks, I’m guessing it’ll have something to do with the new game next month so maybe some monsters in stories that aren’t in the game yet and apex kula yaku idk

 

That game is 100% why my joysticks are fucked up and loose in all 4 of my controllers
