Hit the Lights also dropped off Four Chord. Bummer.

 

This is one of the most oddball shaky knees line ups I've (gone every year and got my tattoo for free entry for life) but I guess overall I'm happy with it. I know they're both darlings around here, but I haven't been able to get into either Phoebe Bridgers or run the jewels from their recordings but I'm hoping their live shows will convert me. I'm excited for St Vincent, Mac DeMarco, Portugal the man, modest mouse, the strokes, royal blood & Tennis mostly. Stevie nicks or alice cooper don't do anything for me on paper, but again, live show could change my mind.

After seeing them all playing Four Chord & Riot Fest the same day, as well as State Champs having shows in NYC announced... It seems like Pure Noise Tour with State Champs/Four Year Strong/Bearings/Just Friends announcement has gotta be coming soon

 

I wonder if this gives any clues as to who Rise Against is bringing with them on their tour.

 

Bought a ticket to st Vincent in new haven ct this morning never seen her

 

all this new tour activity and such and I discovered that the 1975's website still has the Bandsintown link saying they're playing Outside Lands on Aug. 6, which 1. isn't the date anymore and 2. they already dropped off a while back. weird

Maybe The Menzingers but I hope they just do their own tour

State Champs / FYS / Just Friends and Bearings is definitely a tour based on this and Riot

 

I would be surprised/very disappointed if the Menzos first tour back wasn't a headliner.

 

Tour dates were supposed to be announced yesterday but it's getting postponed for maybe next week. I know of some big shows getting announced on the 1st so I'm assuming more shows are gonna wait for after the 3 day weekend.

 

I think it had to do with it being George Floyd’s anniversary.

 

Curious on what cities since they are headlining Sad Summer

 

I really hope the Menzingers tour on their own. It's been like 4 years since I've seen them.

 

State Champs/FYS would be a good show if it’s a coheadliner. Brain Pain was one of my top albums last year and they really need a tour where they play a bunch of those songs.

I also don’t see Menz playing with RA. Seems like an odd pairing to me.

 

Menzingers toured with them back in 2012 along with Title Fight. Wouldn’t put it out of the realm of possibilities!

 

The Maine is announcing more dates soon too has me wondering if they are touring with ATL and hitting cities that aren’t apart of Sad Summer

 

I was wondering that as well. There's definitely big markets that SSF is not covering so it makes sense to me
