Never said wait another 15 months

 

I mean we are still waiting a few months anyways as most shows aren’t starting back up until August or September

 

Okay, "wait another few months." Point still stands. It won't change much in terms of convincing people who are still refusing to get vaccinated.

EDIT: And if we see a spike in cases after some of these festivals or shows? I'm sure people will change their tune. This is all fluid and subject to change as time goes on. But I think people should try.

 

Also kids getting vaccinated is important but these kids are already going back to school in the fall surrounded by hundreds or even thousands of other kids in packed buildings so I’m not sure how that’s different than venues being filled with people.

 

Yeah, definitely not trying to argue with y'all, and don't even disagree with anything you're saying.

I don't think anyone is in the wrong here.

As previously mentioned in my initial post, I personally feel comfortable going to shows and doing most everything now.

But it doesn't mean we're not out of the woods, and for some people (not saying any of you) when they see tour announcements or festival dates and/or states removing mask mandates and loosening other protocols, people just think COVID is over. And it's not.

For example, my gym removed all its 'face mask required' signs and instead put up a sign that said 'Per CDC guidelines, masks are now optional' and that is quite literally not what the CDC said. I know that doesn't have to do with touring/concerts but It's just that casual attitude about this stuff that irks me sometimes.

 

I think the big problem/question is what is the protocol to make sure people are vaccinated and safe and that hasn't been announced in conjunction with the shows , and I get there's some moral questions with the vaccine passport but it needs to be explicitly clear that it's vaccinated or tested people only

 

Kids are already getting vaccinated. My 13 year old brother got his first shot a week ago.

I could def see that and I agree with you on that. I’m okay with having to show my card or wear a mask. I was and still am fully on board with the vaccination and masks and all of that. I just thought it was funny. And congratulations on the graduation! I’m glad you can finally get to do that. Or did? That’s huge. Good stuff.

Waitlisted for MSG Night 1. At least I assume the code is only for one venue/one night. Should have tried for Prudential Center.

 

Presale Code is specific for that Ticketmaster account so you can’t use it unless you have access to that account.

 

Is the reason they have you select a specific date during the verification process just to get an idea of demand for each show? Hence adding a couple additional shows already this week?

I wouldn't bank on getting tickets to any these dates first hand (unless Ticketmaster does that bullshit premium seating nonsense). Honestly, she should just go ahead and play baseball stadiums at this point. There's a huge gap around the NYC-area dates so I anticipate a bunch more being added.

Yes already did and thank you! Did it a couple weeks ago outside in a stadium in Vegas in 102 degree heat. Was happy but exhausted by the end of it haha.
