Y'all got mad at me for saying I'd love to hear Yip produce Coheed, nobody thought about how bad this could get.

I'm not gonna look too much into this though, Nick R has put out some real bad albums from a production standpoint and I like what he did with NWFT, and on paper the YOTBR team probably looked cool, and we know how that turned out. Just excited the next thing is on the horizon.

 

Claudio did an interview with Matt Pinfield for early marketing for Vaxis 1. Is it possible that’s all this is?(I really hope so) Idk what role the producer could have in the interview. Maybe he’s just Matt’s go to audio production guy and they’re putting the interview up somewhere?

 

Sorry to double post but the more I’m looking into it the more I see Matt Pinfield’s more affiliated with radio stations now than with any kind of record label. Hopefully it’s just a radio interview.

 

he lists that guy as part of Coheed's "team" so i really dont think thats the case.

Looks like he helped produce Wake Up Sunshine by All Time Low and I think that's a great record, don't remember disliking the production on it particularly

 

Yeah I mean you might not like those records by Machine Gun Kelly, Neck Deep, All Time Low, etc. but the production on them sounds good.

 

He also produced Modern Baseball and the Movielife, so I don't have issues.

Not sure if there are any superstar producers who I'd really want for Coheed. Maybe Ross Robinson.

Tour with The Used announced. Bummer there’s no Oakland date since that was the one me, and my buddy had tix to see originally for the NWFT tour.

 

Man, that tour is gonna be really really fun. So many new shows being announced though, I don't know where to spend my money ahh

 

the presale code is vaxis2, so they're teasing. Based on past album rollouts, I'm guessing we'll get a new song played live and the album announcement sometime in fall/winter 2021 and album in early 2022.
