but seriously, george strait was a big part of my childhood as him, garth brooks, and alan jackson were pretty much all my mom listened to in the car, and she wouldn't let me change the radio at all so i'm way more familiar with all their discographies than i probably should be so it's probably just a nostalgia tinted viewpoint. garth and alan have some legitimately good songs from that era though so it isn't all bad.

it's still amazing i pivoted into loud shit after being raised on country, but i had to find some way to disappoint my parents.

 

Being a Garth Brooks fan was my secret shame when I cared about that shit, dude knows his way around a song living legend

 

Honestly that could be it for me is I didn’t hear it much when I was younger. I gave him a try multiple times too later down the road. He is an icon though, I do know that much.

Lolla isn’t selling not cuz of the lineup but because of the mandatory vaccine or test policy they have. Also no one knows what international travel will be like come the end of July
