I feel like their "Don't Call it a Comeback" tour was essentially an anniversary tour for CTTM

I’d love to see a new release, even if it was a short EP or something.

I'd love a new release but not a short EP.

I with you. I’d love a full length, but I am trying to temper expectations. Between Justin’s EP and a couple random songs associated with MCS and JCP it’s it least feel like enough to make a short playlist.

    Not gonna lie. Bummed.

Surprised Justin is up for that long of a tour after his surgery and recovery.

Also, even if it's next spring, I'm pretty sure I will not go to House of Blues Boston with COVID. I just can't make that much of an adjustment.

Oh that wasn't a joke they are really doing a 17 year anniversary tour lol Stoked to see them again but I do wish it wasn't just CTTM, just since I've seen them do it several times at this point. But I understand why they do, and maybe they'll toss Crooked Ways in on the encore set or something.

Also can't help but notice Chicago is the only major market missing, and with them playing Wisconsin on new year's day, I wonder if they'll do another New Year's Eve show. Or if they're playing CTTM at Riot Fest

Haven’t gotten emails from Starland in over a year, hoping to change that today with a presale code for this. Getting really emotional thinking about how the reunion was my last set of shows before everything fell apart and how different things will feel for this.

No Toronto or another Canadian dates, but with borders sort of closed I can see the hesitation. Bands/Touring Crews should be getting vaccinated when they can to increase market options.

As much as I love this band and this album, I've seen them SO many times, and have already seen CTTM front to back, I'd rather have a regular setlist at this point

yeah it makes me sad to see a band as good as this relegated to being a nostalgia act, even if the album they’re always celebrating when they do it is my fav by them.

Agreed. Band is way better than 1 album. CTTM is my very close second favourite behind IATM. EIIKM is fun too. I’m a little less DL and PS, but there are good songs all over the place. I hope they pick some variety beyond just place CTTM.

I can’t believe I skipped Go when l posted this. Think I like it more than most but it’s a bit gloomy and little different.

  19. they almost always add a MN date or dates closer to when the tour begins

unfortunately I haven’t truly loved anything they’ve done outside those first three records. they’re all super talented and I have enjoyed songs outside of those, but those three albums are so special to me. Might end up getting a ticket for this, February seems realistically far enough away with COVID

Why? Just because it isn't 15 or 20? It's not like things have to be based around 5 or 0.

first three are all nearly equal in my eyes, but I would prob go CTTM>IATM>EIIKM ultimately. beyond that, GO is the best of the rest for me, with the other two being a tossup for my least favorite (some very good songs, some meh songs, and a couple I could stand to never hear again)

I have hope they could return reinvigorated and make something I like at least as much as GO
