Looks like I'm gonna need a Peacock trial soon, I want to watch that show, AP Bio and the Ed Helms/Mike Schur show

 

Speaking of Peacock, has anyone figured out how to turn subtitles on? I tried for 10 minutes last night before giving up. I’d select English, hit play, and then no subtitles. It’s such a shitty app so far

 

Kept watching The Circle kinda passively. Did not think I’d be the person to make this thread, but it’ll come in handy a year from now haha

I was cool with the circle winner but def not the best “player” made some bonehead moves at the end but I’m happy either way.

The show stranger on Netflix is the twistiest show I've seen. Recommend as long as you don't mind subtitles.

 

Just got to the Jake Johnson/Cristin Milioti episode of Mythic Quest and it was absolutely the best episode of the series so far. Pretty frustrating when it doesn't even feature a single main character from the series lol. I'm liking the show enough, but it hasn't fully won me over yet

 

Still waiting for that spinoff!!! But yeah it's a good one

 

I remember thinking the show as a whole improved after that episode, the second half of the season is definitely better than the first

Invincible is some wild, good, wildly good shit.

 

i enjoyed Circle S1 for the novelty. I tried giving season 2 a shot, i'm at episode 5, and honestly....i'm kinda bored. I got into a few episodes when those two girls were making alliances and were all talking strategy. i LIKE that aspect of the show, when people treat it like a game show, and aren't just YELLING and think EVERYTHING IS EXCITING. And are flirting?

Stuff like making them all dress up and do a concert? That does nothing for me. Seeing them flirt? The basis of the game needs more layers to make it last longer. You gotta go survivor style and give these people rewards and incentive to keep people together with challenges and what not. Like do a game that "men" should be good at...and that way maybe catfishes will get exposed (and vice versa).

Everyone should just assume everyone is a liar, but who cares, in the end, who will not vote me out. that's all that matters

 

I just started Invincible, not sure if that's what you meant, but EP 1 ending was nuts. For anyone that read the comic, is this a screen adaptation, prequel, or continuing the story?

Yeah, Invincible was great, we watched it all last Sunday. Can't wait for the next season
