one of those odd baseball stats that just sticks with you forever for me is that Travis Hafner is tied for the most grand slams in a season with 6. I remember being bewildered by his grand slam onslaught in 2006 when he hit 5 in the span of like eight weeks

 

i wonder who has been on base the most times when a grand slam was hit

Just watched the highlights from Means’ no-hitter

Seattle’s right handed hitters just could not pick up on that change up that he kept throwing down and away from them. Very impressive.
