Spurs’ goal music is so cringe

 

It is bad but I think the lack of crowd noise makes it worse haha

The song is a tune, but it being used as goal music in a totally empty stadium is quite hilarious.

 

In Sweden, stadia are limited to EIGHT people, yet indoor shopping centers are open. So the fans of top division side AIK decided to gather in a nearby center instead...

 

As vaccines roll out, the entire western world feels so haphazard and off-putting when it comes to covid stuff.

I’m fully vaccinated as of Wednesday, so I’m READY FOR NORMAL but like, I also get that’s not the case for the majority of the world. Governments aren’t being the most logical/helpful in supporting the “we still have a ways to go” side.

 

Yeah I haven’t even been offered one yet.

Here in the U.K. they did health workers and vulnerable people and are going down the age groups now and it’s currently everyone over 40. I probably have at least 6 weeks until my first vaccination as a guy in his mid twenties.

Like, I want it badly, but also it’s not going to make any real difference for a little while. The things I want to do the most, like go to the football, or a nightclub, or a festival:concert won’t happen that soon anyway.

 

I got my first shot by accident; walked out of my physical therapy appointment (pulled a muscle in my leg training for a marathon) and the doctor office next door was like, “want one? We have to throw it away otherwise.” At the time, only 55+ could get it. I’m 31. But a week after that, anyone over 16 in Tennessee could get one. But we have states where it’s still over 60. The lack of uniformity makes it all weirder.

 

I got mine pretty early because I’m an ER nurse and it was through our hospital system. When I went to get it they shuffled us through like an assembly line and it took like 15 mins even though there were tons of people there.

 

What part of NC do you live in?

My best friend is a pediatrician and he’s about to move to New Bern for a pediatric hospitalist position. He’s currently in Greenville doing residency.

 

Hoping this Seattle - Galaxy match lives up to the billing. L.A. is supposed to be semi-resurgent and with a seemingly in form Chicharito, it could make for an interesting match.

 

I’m in Charlotte. So not particularly close to him.

I’m a fan of the dreads for Dele. I’m also a fan of how he played yesterday. Looked much more comfortable. As did the rest of the team.

I know we played one of the worst teams in recent PL history, but the overall attitude and effort from the entire team was very noticeable. Jose can really just suck the life out of a team.

We obviously have to win the rest of our games to have a chance at top 4. And even then, we’d need a little help from the teams above us. It’s a long shot but we definitely have the easiest schedule remaining.

We need Leicester and/or Chelsea to lose two games and us win out. Like I said, it’s a long shot, but Leicester losing back to back away matches to United and Chelsea isn’t crazy. If we win our matches, that final week could be for 4th place.

 

I suppose West Ham and Liverpool are also in the mix. They both have a game in hand. And their schedules don’t look as tough as Leicester or Chelsea.

 

Doesn’t look like we’ll get much of relegation drama though. Fulham and West Brom are basically done.

 

I'm a few years older than you but it's looking like end of May/start of June for me. Just ready to go back to a bit of normal now.

 

Yeah it’s a disaster here haha we’re still doing over 60’s. There’s a large stockpile of AZ going unused because that’s only for over 60’s. And the J&J vaccine which was meant to be what will put us up to 85% of adults vaccinated in June is now only being used for over 60’s too.

the recent deal the EU did with Pfizer helps but we’ve only recently gotten over 1m first doses.

 

New Jersey just opened the vaccine up to everyone last week, but I managed to get both of mine before that happened, though it meant driving an hour and a half to Atlantic City, worth it.

Just come to New Jersey, we'll get you the vaccine, lol
