Adam Banks and Fulton Reed made me audibly react. Gonna have to watch the trilogy again shortly.

Of the cast? Adam Banks. Wanted to be him most of my childhood.

Of the movies? Probably the second one. Greenland is covered in ice. And Iceland is very green.

I was referring to movies but you answered correctly. The amount of times I've seen D2 on VHS is only rivaled by Clue.

Same! So many rewatches. I found a dvd box set of the trilogy in college and it was the best.

Why no thread for Shadow and Bone? I loved it. Like watched it so fast because I was hooked.. I'm not a book reader though so I'd love to hear from that POV. Should I pick up the books now? What did the show cover?

welcome! I loved it as well and wish more people were talking about it! This season covered Shadow and Bone and introduced/very briefly covered five of the six MCs from Six of Crows. The changes that were made all make sense to me, so I had no complaints.

I think the books are quite fun! Typical YA fare (not a bad thing), but Bardugo is one of the best at that right now.

If you like Alina/Mal/The Darkling, start with the trilogy: Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising

If you like Kaz/Inej/Jesper/Nina/Matthias, start with the duology: Six of Crows, Crooked Kingdom. Technically takes place after the trilogy but doesn’t spoil anything.

The characters all sorta mesh for the final duology which takes place after both: King of Scars, Rule of Wolves; so don’t start here.

They have script treatments to finish the trilogy with the inclusion of SoC/CK in three seasons and a full five season series arc to cover all seven books. I hope they get it.

If I go in order with Alina and Mal, do I just need to get through the first book before I get to the next part in that story?

Yep! And the trilogy read really quickly. I just read them all last month in a couple days. I’d read SoC/CK years ago.

Awesome, thanks! I just started the Lockwood & Co. series but I'll get to this after that and I'm sure I'll be done before next year.

You should start a thread. This was one of the better fantasy shows on Netflix, start some more buzz so people watch it. Jesper is my favorite. The train scene was hilarious.
