I’ve never given cope a proper listen. They kinda lost me with simple math (although there are some great songs) and I’ve only listened to black mile for the first time in the last few months.

not sure how I feel about opening this album by rhyming "inaudible" with "audible" lol. song's lovely though

 

I think this is mostly really good although to me The Internet is kind of a whimper to end on. Also probably in the minority on this but I don’t love the melodic references/callbacks, doesn’t bother me a ton but I tend not to be into that kind of self reference

How bad is The Internet? I don’t think I’ve seen one person (here or in any of the outside reviews) say a good thing about it.

Bummer because I like my albums to have great closers.

Anyways, maybe someday I’ll listen to this album.

telepath's ending reminds me most of holland 1945

 

truly don't know how I feel about this yet. super strange album, almost feels like 3 EPs put together. the highs are breathtakingly high, I hope the rest grows on me though
