GREEN DUDES BEST GREEN DAY PODCAST Prestigious

They will likely only play the title track. I wish they'd just run through the full album, it wouldn't even take up a quarter of their set.

One pandemic later and FOB will still close with Pete going into the crowd during Saturday

    Maybe so, maybe not.

I'll always go see Weezer but their setlist choices are absolute ass. Too many covers, way too short, way too little diversity.

i thought i'd be interested in FOB but looking at recent setlists, I just dont have interest in like 80% of what they play now. probably going to sit this tour out.

If you just want to see Weezer I would not go to a 3 band package tour personally haha

Of the three bands, Green Day is probably the best about diversifying their set. The last time they came through, they were still breaking out "2,000 Light Years Away" and "Going to Pasalaqua." Don't know if they'd change that for a stadium show though.

It's been, what, two years since this tour was announced, and I still find it bonkers that Fall Out Boy is playing after Weezer.

    Things have changed.

FOB's last record still hit #1!

  14. FOB is way bigger than Weezer, so it makes total sense. I wouldn't even be surprised to see FOB play after Green Day. But I don't think GD would let that happen, haha.

They still break out the odd rarity, but for the most part even they have roughly the same setlist tour to tour. It's always a number of tracks from their newest album, the hits, and maybe one deeper cut. They're definitely better than some bands, but they could totally mix it up a bit.

Weezer's setlists are absolutely criminal. Honestly one of the major reasons I haven't seen them in a long time. Band has been around for 27 years, a dozen albums and they play 60-minute, 19 song sets with 6 covers.

Yeah the lineup makes sense, Fall Out Boy is way bigger than weezer and even after all of their misfires over the past ten years Green Day is still bigger than both of them.

Thankfully last time I saw Weezer was a handful of years before Teal so no covers.

*edit* they did play Song 2 by Blur actually but that was it for covers.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

There is an interesting discrepancy for FOB's live performances though, in my opinion.

Before the hiatus, Patrick could not hit those notes live and the playing was a little sloppy—but the setlists were perfect.

After the hiatus, Patrick's vocals live improved tremendously and so did the musicianship—but the new setlist additions were bad.
