Black MIle was my first from them and is one of the most important albums of my life so far, so if this passes it that'll be impressive. Looking like it may considering the fact that some of the themes are really speaking to me rn and musically it's just as solid.

Does "Annie" remind anyone else of the Zelda 2 dungeon theme?

Its hard to explain. This doesn't sounds like Radiohead but it feels like Radiohead.

I can kinda see what you mean. It's for sure a groundbreaking album and I hope it gets big because they really, really, really deserve it on this one. This feels ahead of its time just as ABMttS did.

To be fair most bands who are in an experimental realm with interconnected song transitions have that comparison at some point.

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

Angel of Death is an all timer.

No one could figure out a way to properly edit it to be a single, but whatever, 5:45 and worth the time. Fuck industry ~standards~.

yeah I basically hear it as pretty much "just" a slightly more ornate, slightly more bombastic sequel to ABMTTS (not complaining!)

I mean its not something you really can be right or wrong about. Its an opinion. If its something I hear or others do then there is some thing were picking up to our ears.
