I didn't want to look back through 10 pages of fighting to check if someone already mentioned it but it has dripped. Though, you only really have to wait like half a day at this point.

 

dinosaur -- obstacle -- way back is a gorgeous little stretch

way back might be one of their best songs.

 

whole thing is really good but side B is just something else IMO.

2 mins on in obstacle is my favourite point in the album

 

That little one-two of “Obstacle” and “Way Back” is maybe their prettiest music ever.

Hard to tell if this is better than ABMttS because I'm only a listen and a half in (passed out during my first one), but it's either tied for first or just behind it.

Loving the motifs/reprises/callbacks to Black Mile. Like "Thought this time I might just walk away from you" having the same melody as "I don't wanna walk away from you" from "The Mistake" and then this being further reprised in "Annie"

Front to back, there’s not a moment of this entire record that I don’t love.

Favorite moment on the entire record is in Dinosaur though.

 

A Black Mile is what got me back into this band but the second half of this alone makes me think it’s the better album. (But obviously, still way too early to make that call.)
