Started Uncharted 3 the other day and it feels like a huge step back from 2

It definitely picks up once you get past the first 7 or so chapters

Ah that makes sense. I think I just got to about that point last night so we'll see how it goes from here

Dying Light is so underrated. I've been playing it recently and it's just such a consistently fun game. I don't agree with Colin Moriarty often but I remember him saying that Dying Light could teach Fallout 4 a thing or two about how to do an open world action rpg and I totally agree with him. Even the dlc, The Following, totally eclipses any of the dlc for Fallout 4. I hope Bethesda get their act together for the next Elder Scrolls game because Fallout 4 was immensely disappointing.

I don't feel like UC3 is a huge step back. If anything it is mainly not a big enough step forward and retreads a lot of 2.

That's possible. And like I said I'm not super far in yet (only ~ chapter 6) but so far it just has been climbing on climbing, which after the first two has gotten a little stale haha. So yeah maybe not so much a step back as just no steps forward

The ending is awesome! There's a lot of discussion online about the meaning of it. Pretty great stuff.

I'm tired of No Man's Sky too but there's new fuck ups coming to light every day and it's hard not to be interested and find it hilarious.

Today's discovery has seen people finding that everything they've named on their journey hasn't been saved when they go back.

Quantum Break "Sold Really Well," Beat Microsoft's Expectations

"Quantum Break sold really well; it exceeded what we expected it to do," he said when discussing what Remedy might make next with Windows Central. "We were really pleased with how Quantum Break did. But just like every movie, not every game needs a sequel, sometimes it's okay."

Speaking generally about Remedy's future, Greenberg said, "They're very creative storytellers who build very rich, great games." Remedy was a "great partner" for Microsoft on Alan Wake and Quantum Break he said, so naturally, "We're excited to see what they do next."

I just started it today and so far I'm impressed. Good graphics and animation. Fun time mechanics. Music fits the setting really well. Like that there's choices here and there. Gameplay is enjoyable. Definitely want to finish this one.

Loved Quantum Break. Was my Game of the Year for a bit. A few minor flaws, but overall a wonderful experience with a great ending (story-wise) and terrible ending (boss fight).

It sucks that there won't be a second and that Remedy are doing a campaign for that weird CS knock off.

That article states that there won't be a Quantum Break 2 and a few weeks ago, it was stated that they are making a campaign for some Chinese publisher CS clone.

So now that I'm settled into having a 3DS XL and having a charger, I am better of buying a bigger micro SD card and just downloading games from the Eshop or buying them physically?

i loved having physical games on 3DS, but it can get tedious, not to mention take up a ton of space! huge boxes for tiny little cartridges.
