Its been crazy. My wife and I thought about selling but knew we would run into the same problem. Ended up refinancing instead to try and take some advantage of the market at least

Out of curiosity, what changed your mind?

 

Yeah, this record took a minute for me to digest it until I saw it live, but four years seems wild.

 

i think just giving it more of a chance? getting older? haha. idk. i think I was disappointed at first for it not being what I have come to expect from them. i love the sound of andy's voice juxtaposed with the big dumptruck ass guitar tones they have and it rubbed me the wrong way having stuff like the grocery, the sunshine, etc.

but the melodies in those songs are undeniable

 

The funny part about this entire thing that happened, I genuinely think PHaynes and I have more in common than we do differences.


Because that’s how I feel exactly.
