but fair to say blew up by users who have yet to post in this thread until yesterday. Unless they were just quietly reading each post in this thread daily for months until they finally had to all post at once.

Also you keep using this line like it means anything. It doesn't. Maybe these people tried coming in here and didn't feel comfortable posting at all until yesterday? I know the only reason I came back was because people were airing their frustrations and it made me feel comfortable enough to do so as well. Every other time I've checked this thread since February I've immediately noped back out of it.

So you see, I can use this same statement to support my point just as much as you're using it to try and support yours.

 

I read every post in this thread. But I rarely post in here. That’s true of a lot of threads on this site.

And I’ll say that I share many of the complaints people have been posting about that one particular user. It wasn’t the reason I didn’t post more often, but I found it incredibly obnoxious to read this thread sometimes. I felt the same way about that one dude in the Thrice thread. Though I don’t feel that way about TUG. They are an absolute treasure and objectively one of the best posters on this website.

So I don’t think you can take the lack of previous discussion as emblematic of much.

 

To be fair, i clarified that I actually use miracle whip if that’s better.

It was still weird then. I’ve been in the thread, and been saying it sucks.

 

I think it's a fair thing to say.

If a restaurant had a lot of regulars that have been dining there for many months and had two guests that rubbed people the wrong way, one was very antagonistic and negative and the other was flexing their connection to the band, but overall it went on as business as usual for a while, and then suddenly things got tense and a whole bunch of local residents suddenly showed up at the restaurant who had never been seen ordering at the restaurant before, made a big uproar, said the restaurant sucked because it was just a big uproar and caused the restaurant to turn into a shitty place right before their new menu was launched, I think it would be fair to say that some of the regulars would be a bit frustrated at the new people showing up adding to the chaos.

 

Remember when everyone just thought manchesterorch8 Was Andy? Things were simpler then.
